IX FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CORTOMETRAJES DE VALDEALGORFA – Valdealgorfa 2025.
BASES
1. La participación del certamen está abierta a productores y realizadores de cine de cualquier nacionalidad. Se podrán presentar al certamen películas de ficción, no documentales ni de animación, mudas o con sonido incorporado, realizadas durante los años, 2024 y 2025, cuya duración máxima no exceda de 20 minutos.
2. Las obras deberán ser presentadas en castellano o en su defecto, subtituladas al mismo.
3. Los cortometrajes quedarán en poder de la organización, formando parte de su archivo videográfico. Pudiendo ser exhibidos, sin ánimo de lucro, en actividades paralelas al certamen cuando ésta lo considere oportuno y siempre previa comunicación al director o productor de la obra, quienes podrán decidir no participar en el acto comunicado. Decisión que excluirá la proyección del cortometraje en la programación.
4. Los productores de los cortometrajes seleccionados autorizan la utilización de un fragmento de las obras (máximo tres minutos), para su difusión como materia informativa en cualquier medio de comunicación, incluido Internet.
5. Cada participante podrá presentar una sola obra.
6. La organización se reserva el derecho de admitir a concurso las obras que estime oportunas, desestimando aquellas que por su contenido o temática pudieran se ofensivas al espectador.
7. Las películas seleccionadas a concurso, figurarán en el catálogo del Festival y se exhibirán en sesiones públicas dentro de las fechas de celebración del mismo, 3 y 4 de octubre de 2025. Los lugares y fechas de proyección se anunciarán por medio del programa oficial del Festival.
8. Concursarán los trabajos que estén en poder de la organización el 31 de julio de 2025 a 23:59 h.
9. Los cortometrajes deben enviarse vía online, mediante la inscripción y subida del cortometraje en una de las dos siguientes plataformas:

10. El jurado que decidirá los premios entre las películas seleccionadas, estará formado por profesionales del medio cinematográfico y miembros de la organización con voz y sin voto. El fallo del Jurado es inapelable.
11. CATEGORÍAS y PREMIOS
Se seleccionarán un conjunto de cortometrajes que formarán la “SECCIÓN OFICIAL 2025” y se proyectarán durante el Festival previa comunicación al director o productor del trabajo.
Los premios son:
MEJOR CORTOMETRAJE DE FICCIÓN: el cortometraje ganador recibirá título y trofeo.
PREMIO DEL PÚBLICO: Al más valorado por el público en votación que se realizará durante la celebración del Festival.
Además de estos premios, el jurado también otorgará diploma acreditativo a los siguientes apartados técnicos y artísticos:
– MEJOR DIRECCIÓN
– MEJOR GUIÓN
– MEJOR ACTOR
– MEJOR ACTRIZ
– MEJOR BANDA SONORA
El jurado podrá igualmente otorgar una MENCIÓN ESPECIAL cuando considere que exista algún otro apartado de mérito que no figura explicitado en estas bases.
12. La organización se reserva el derecho a dejar desiertos los premios que estime oportunos.
13. Todos los participantes, por el hecho de serlo, aceptan íntegramente las presentes bases, así como la resolución de cualquier problema no recogido en éstas por la organización.

IX SHORT FILM INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL DE VALDEALGORFA
2025 Valdealgorfa (Teruel – Spain)
BASES
1. Participation in the festival is open to producers and filmmakers of any nationality. Only fiction films may be presented (no documentaries or animation), made during the years, 2024 and 2025 and lasting no longer than 20 minutes.
2. The works must be presented in Spanish or failing this, subtitled into Spanish.
3. The short films will be held by the organization, forming part of its video archive and available for non-profit display in parallel activities to the contest when it is deemed appropriate. In such cases, the director or producer of the work will always be consulted prior to the event and may choose not to participate. Such a decision would exclude the screening of the short film in the programming.
4. The producers of the selected short films authorize the use of a fragment of their work (maximum 3 minutes) for promotional purposes in any media, including the Internet.
5. Each participant may submit a single work.
6. The organization reserves the right to admit those works that it deems appropriate, dismissing those that by their content or subject could be offensive to the viewer.
7. The films selected for competition will be included in the Festival catalogue and will be shown at public sessions within the dates of the event, October 3 and 4 2025. Venues and projection dates will be announced via the official Festival programme.
8. Entries received and held by the organization on July 31, 2025 at 23:59 h. will be take part in the competition.

10. The jury that will decide the prize winners among the selected films, will be formed by professionals from the world of cinema as well as members of the organization who will have the right to comment but not vote. The decision of the Jury is final.
11. CATEGORIES AND AWARDS
A set of short films will be selected which will form the «OFFICIAL SELECTION 2025» and will be screened during the Festival following prior communication to the director or producer of the work.
The awads are:
BEST SHORT FICTION FILM: The winning short film will receive a title and trophy.
THE PUBLIC’S PRIZE: To the most highly rated work voted by the public during the course of the Festival.
In addition to these awards, the jury will also award an accredited diploma in the following technical and artistic sections:
– BEST DIRECTION
– BEST SCREENPLAY
– BEST ACTOR
– BEST ACTRESS
– BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC
The jury may also award a SPECIAL MENTION when it considers that there is another area of merit that is not explicit in these bases.
12. The organization reserves the right to leave null and void any award section it deems appropriate.
13. All participants, through their decision to take part in this competition fully accept the aforementioned bases, as well as the resolution by the organization of any problem not contemplated here.
